Mallory Potts, a sophomore, reached 500 kills for the season on Tuesday night October 28. 500 Kills in one season is truly a feat to be recognized!!

MacArthur Senior Left Offensive Tackle Joey Moore (#76) was named Scholar Athlete of the Week by San Antonio Sports this week in recognition of his Academic and Athletic Excellence.


Jamal Williams has been selected to represent the MacArthur Brahmas in this year's San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game. The game will be played at the Alamodome on Saturday, January 3, 2015

BBFloresville tournament

Competed in Floresville Classic this past weekend.  Lost first game of pool play to Port Lavaca Calhoun 43-47.  Defeated Burbank 55-38 to place a spot in the Silver Bracket.  Defeated Marshall 53-45 in the first game of bracket play.  Beat Laredo Alexander 42-34 Friday morning and defeated Floresville in the Silver Championship 46-23.  Taylor Terrell was named to the All Tournament Team.  The girls improved their record to 9-3.  Will take on Clark on Tuesday at

O'Conner at 1:30.

Girls Basketball



The Brahmas went 2-2 in this weekends Northside Tournament beating Stevens and John Jay. Next game is against Brandeis High School at Littleton Gym at 6:30PM

Boys Basketball



The wrestling team had a fantastic showing at the Lee HS wrestling tournament. The boys team finished 3rd. This was the best finish in years. Michael Terrazas, GUs Tijerino, and Johnny Vance all won first place. Nick Thai won second place, while Destiny Rhodes, Jolissa Lujan, and Cameron Snyder all won third place.  Congratulations!!

Our MAC Brahmas won the Dual Meet against Northside Marshall yesterday!  There were 8 teams competing at the meet; four were NEISD teams, and 4 were NISD teams.  NEISD teams won 3 of the 4 meets, with the 4th  NEISD team just being edged out by 7 points! So overall, what a great accomplishment for the district!  MAC Swimmers of the Week/Meet were awarded to FR – Kylie Strain & FR – Caleb Cowan for their consistent effort in practice and outstanding sportsmanship and racing at the meet.  Congratulations on your excellent week of training and meet performance!
